Coláiste Mhichíl is delighted to be on the 2016-21 School Capital Buildings Programme. Our school has been listed for a full refurbishment and extension by the Department of Education and Skills.
This will bring the present school building into the 21st century and see the facilities match the energy and great work that is currently taking place in the school.
The Principal and the BOM are currently working with the Building Unit of the Department of Education and Skills on finalising the details for the design and the best route to progress the project in a timely manner.
The current plans envisage a complete refurbishment of the two structures to the front of the campus on the Roxboro Road and the construction of a state of the art extension off the 1829 building. The new school will also include a full Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) unit, and thus continuing the school’s proud tradition of inclusive education.
We will keep you updated on our school Facebook page on all the progress we make. We look forward to you joining us on our journey to build our new school.
