Welcome to Coláiste Mhichíl
Coláiste Mhichíl is an all-boys secondary school located in Limerick City Centre. The school is renowned for hosting the J. P. McManus Scholarship Awards and has a current enrolment of 360 students. Coláiste Mhichíl is currently tendering for a €32 million Capital Building Project that will completely transfer the school’s campus. The project will be on site in Feb 2027 and the students of Colaiste Mhichíl will have a modern, state of the art, school building and campus.
Our mission statement is to provide a visibly Christian environment where pupils and staff can achieve their full potential as human beings intellectually, physically, socially and in a spiritual fashion in the tradition of Blessed Edmund Rice. The main aim of the school is to create a challenging learning environment, to facilitate the all-round education of our students to the highest spiritual, moral and academic standard, and to prepare them for life itself.
